Today we went to the allotment and planted all the berries and blackcurrants on the plot with the only exception being the Blueberries which need to be in ericacious soil.
Bee wanted to plant tomatoes and kale too but Summer begged to put them in the raised beds later when they were better prepared and Bee agreed.
We planted:
- Gooseberry (Hinnonmaki Red)
- Blackcurrant (Ben Sarek)
- Raspberry (All Gold)
At her house Bee still has:
- Blueberry (Goldtraube) a blue variety
- Blueberry (Pink Lemonade) a pink variety
And of course Bee has a host of annuals growing in her greenhouse be planted in beds later on when we have prepared them.
